A leading European engineering contractor is seeking experienced Telecoms Project Managers to deliver ICT and structured cabling infrastructure packages on high-profile projects in Finland. This is an excellent opportunity to work on advanced data centre and technology builds for global clients across the Nordic region.
As a Telecoms Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of telecommunications and structured cabling systems across large-scale projects. This includes management of project schedules, subcontractors, costs, quality, and safety while ensuring client specifications are fully met.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage client expectations and specifications relating to telecommunications infrastructure cabling
Oversee daily site operations, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards
Manage project schedules and associated costs (labour, materials, procurement, plant, equipment, and variations)
Coordinate and manage subcontractor activities, tracking progress against programme
Attend site meetings with clients and project teams
Implement company project procedures across your team
Ensure change management is correctly handled (programme and cost impacts)
Lead project close-out activities including O&M manuals, QA files, safety files, punch lists, and final accounts
Maintain excellent communication with stakeholders and ensure smooth project execution
Candidate Profile:
3–5 years’ experience in a similar project management role
Strong knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure cabling and ICT installations
Experience managing structured cabling packages on mission-critical or large-scale projects
Strong IT skills (MS Office, project management tools)
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Flexibility to travel and work across European project sites
Telecoms industry certification (desirable)
